Draft Vision Plan Open House

 

Fairfax County is holding a second open house on Thursday, November 8, 2018 as part of the visioning process for the McLeanCBC Planning Study. The event will begin with a presentation explaining the Draft Vision Plan followed by an open house to give the community the opportunity to provide their feedback on the Draft Vision Plan.

Subject:  McLean CBC Suggestions for Land Use Change

 

The Department of Planning and Zoning, Planning Division, is now accepting suggestions for land use change to the Comprehensive Plan for the McLean Community Business Center (CBC). Proposed suggestions can offer either site-specific recommendations or area wide guidance for further consideration. Below is a link to the submission form. Please refer to the instructions on page three of the submission form for contact information and how to submit completed forms.  Proposals should be submitted to the Department of Planning & Zoning staff by November 15, 2018.

The McLean CBC Task Force will recommend changes to the Comprehensive Plan for the McLean CBC based on the community’s vision and will consider the submitted suggestions for land use change. Additional information can be found on the submissions webpage at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/planning-zoning/mclean-cbc-study/submissions.  Questions regarding the submissions or the McLean CBC Study can be directed to Katrina Newtson, katrina.newtson@fairfaxcounty.gov or (703) 324-1233.

Join us on Saturday October 3rd to learn more about draft Comprehensive Plan Proposals in the Lincolnia Planning District. Share your thoughts and questions with county staff and the Lincolnia Study Task Force.
